A six-second branded clip is the cheapest promotion a server has, and it is the one asset most servers never make because exporting video is annoying.
TikTok and Instagram formats
Short video platforms want vertical 1080x1920 and will letterbox anything else. Feed posts on Instagram and Facebook want square 1080x1080. Both formats ship as 30fps MP4 clips of the same scene your banners are cut from, so a viewer who sees the clip and then finds the Discord recognises it immediately.
These are not slideshows of a still image. The scene animates live at render time, which means the water moves, the light sweeps and the embers drift for the full loop, and the loop joins seamlessly so the clip can autoplay without a visible jump.
What to do with them: a vertical clip is a working server trailer opener, a story to pin, or the first second of a recruitment video before your own footage starts. A square clip is the post that goes out when you open applications. Both have your invite baked in, which matters on platforms that strip links out of captions.
