TikTok and Instagram
Vertical is the only aspect short-form platforms do not punish, and the interface eats the top and bottom of it.

1080x1920 is the aspect every short-form platform is built around. Post anything wider and TikTok either letterboxes it with grey bars or crops it to the centre, both of which look like a repost rather than something made for the platform.
The composition problem is interface. TikTok puts a caption, a username and a row of buttons over the bottom quarter and a set of controls over the top. Instagram Stories does something similar. The usable band is roughly the middle 60% of the height, so the lockup in the vertical render sits centred with the scene filling the rest, and nothing important goes within about 250 pixels of the top or bottom edge.
It is a four-second 30fps render of the live scene, silent, with a seamless loop. Four seconds is deliberate: short-form platforms loop a clip rather than stopping it, so a short clean loop plays three or four times while somebody reads the caption, which is more branding exposure than a longer clip that plays once.
This is the single most useful promotional file in a pack for a server trying to grow, because it is the only one that goes straight onto a platform where people who have never heard of your server might see it. Everything else in a pack is seen by people who already found you.
Vertical wants height in the scene itself, so towers, weather and depth fill the frame where a landscape would not.
