About discord invite splashes
The invite splash is the full-bleed background behind the invite card when somebody follows a link to your server. That makes it the only Discord asset with a conversion job: it is the last thing between an invite link and a join, and it is the first impression a stranger gets of whether the community is run by people who care.
It unlocks at boost Level 1, the first and cheapest tier, under Server Settings, Invites. Discord puts an opaque card dead centre carrying your icon, name, member counts and the Accept Invite button, so the middle of the image is hidden. These are composed around that: the scene carries the frame, the lockup sits above the card area and the invite ribbon sits below it.
Discord shows the splash as a still, so there is no animated version for Discord. The pack still renders a 30fps 1920x1080 MP4 of the same scene, which is genuinely useful as the hero video on a server landing page, as a store header background, or as the opening shot of a recruitment video.

Questions
What boost level is the invite splash?
Level 1, the first tier. It is set under Server Settings, Invites, and it is the background a non-member sees behind the invite card.
Can the invite splash be animated?
No. Discord renders it as a still. The MP4 in the pack is for landing pages, store headers and video intros.
Why is the centre of the design empty?
Because Discord draws an opaque invite card there with your icon, name, member counts and the join button. Anything behind it is invisible.
